agent who had a really bad day. As the leader of the Counter
Terrorism Unit's Los Angeles bureau, he was racing against time to
stop an assassination attempt on presidential candidate Senator
David Palmer. Meanwhile, his wife and daughter were kidnapped
and he discovered that there were double agents at CTU, all in the
span of 24 hours. A year later, Jack finds himself widowed,
estranged from his daughter, and out of a job. David Palmer, who is
